Our Own Home
Design & Styling
Moving to a new country, a new city and the first time living together. Within these walls, the story of our interior unfolds, an intricate tapestry woven with the threads of our history and experiences, each piece a treasured relic that resonates with our journey over the years.
How it started
The road to our Valencian home was not without its challenges. The empty expanse of the flat held immense promise, with spacious rooms decorated with fascinating tile work and historical elements.

Overcoming the language barrier while contacting the estate agent presented obstacles, but through determination we triumphed and forged a strong bond with our landlord after finally signing the contract. When my eyes saw the flat, my heart quickened, full of anticipation to bring our essentials into this space and mold it into our cherished sanctuary.
THE IDEA
Our Style
A mix of antique and modern is what we are going for. There are some pieces of furniture we had already picked out or had in the house. But the colours we used matched the beautiful floor tiles throughout the house.
How it went
When putting together the furniture for my flat, I started on a journey to honour authentic elements while bringing it gracefully into the present. This search led me to find an mix of pieces - a harmonious blend of family heirlooms, carefully purchased second-hand treasures from local shops and markets, as well as modern gems from reputable outlets and some products made by myself.
